For the Salzburg News (Salzburger Nachrichten), I gave a statement about the devastating earthquake that occurred on December 29, 2020, with the epicentre in Petrinja and Sisak. The earthquake affected not only Croatia but also several neighbouring countries. I described in particular the situation in the hospital and the feelings of the people according to the testimony of the employees of the Faculty of Croatian Studies from that area. The newspapers carried pictures of the devastation in Croatia showing the apocalyptic ruins of the town of Petrinja.
