Pavo Barišić is professor of philosophy at the University of Zagreb and member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. He was Minister of Science and Education, Dean of the Faculty of Croatian Studies, Head of the Department of Philosophy in Split and Director of the Institute of Philosophy in Zagreb.
