Journalist Vanja Vinković published an interview in issue 1070 of Hrvatski Tjednik on 27 March 2025, entitled "Pavo Barišić: Croatian youth knows what happened and that's why I'm optimistic!"

The interview was conducted on the occasion of the election for president of the oldest movement for a united Europe, the International Pan-European Union.

The subtitle includes the following excerpt from the interview: "The European Union must not allow its fate to be determined by the more or less inclined Trump administration in America without its equal participation. The price of European peace is too high to be a subject of trade. Europe has a strong enough economy, technology, and science to make the effort to strengthen its own defence force."
