The international conference "Croatia and the Future of the European Union" was held in the premises of the Croatian Paneuropean Union in Zagreb on 21-23 October 2022. The jubilee meeting on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Paneurope was held in co-organisation with the International Paneuropean Union and under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs. Over 40 representatives from 15 countries gathered. I spoke about the future of Europe. A declaration was accepted, and after the conference, the Presidency Council of the International Paneuropean Union was held.

The following speakers delivered their speeches at the conference: Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman, President of the International Paneuropean Union Alain Terrenoire, President of the Paneuropean Movement of Austria Karl von Habsburg, President of the Croatian Paneuropean Union Mislav Ježić, Member of the European Parliament Karlo Ressler, Member of the Croatian Parliament Davor Ivo Stier, members of the Presidency of the International Paneuropean Union: Walburga Habsburg Douglas, Anna Záborská, Bernd Posselt, Anna Grünwald, Carlos Uriarte Sanchez, Andrej Lepavcov and Gordana Đurović, President of the Paneuropean Union of France Eric Campion, President of the Paneuropean Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina Osman Topčagić, President of the Paneuropean Union of Ukraine, Ihor Zhaloba, who talked from Kiev, director of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Croatia, Holger Haibach. European Commission Vice President Dubravka Šuica and Member of the European Parliament Željana Zovko greeted the conference participants with video messages from Brussels.
