On the 100th anniversary of the publication of the "Paneuropa. One proposal" in the Vienna newspaper Neue Freie Presse and on the 128th birthday of Richard Coudenhova-Kalergi, the jubilee congress "100 years of Paneurope" began in Vienna on November 17, 2022.
My new book "Ante Starčević: Ideals of Freedom and Rights" was presented at the traditional and well-attended Interliber book fair at the Zagreb Fair on 11 November 2022. The monograph, published by the School Book publishing house in Zagreb, was presented by: the president of the School Book Board, Dr. Ante Žužul, the book reviewer Dr. Željko Holjevac, and the book editor Jozefina Ćurković.
As part of the celebration of the 100th jubilee of the Paneuropean Union and the 30th anniversary of the international recognition of the Republic of Croatia, the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Berlin organised a lecture "The Future of Europe – Croatian experience in the process of European integration from the perspective of the Paneuropean Union".
The international conference "Croatia and the Future of the European Union" was held in the premises of the Croatian Paneuropean Union in Zagreb on 21-23 October 2022. The jubilee meeting on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Paneurope was held in co-organisation with the International Paneuropean Union and under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.
The 30th Days of Frane Petrić opened on September 26, 2022, at the Kimen Hotel in Cres. About 120 lecturers from 17 countries have participated in the symposiums "World in Philosophy" and "Croatian Philosophy and Culture in Interaction and Context". As president of the Programme Committee of the main symposium, I delivered a public lecture "The World in the New Universal Philosophy of Frane Petrić" on the eve of the conference in the hall of the Community of Italians in Cres.
Workshops, a festive reception and the General Assembly of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (Academia scientiarum et artium Europaea) were held in Salzburg on July 1 and 2, 2022. The previous president Felix Unger, who led the Academy since its establishment in 1990, handed over the presidential chain at the Assembly to the new president Klaus Mainzer, elected in 2020.
